I like the idea and after a while when you get more upgrades it is quite nice. But it can get really frustrating really quickly.
After about 10min of play the game becomes glitchy, I hear digging like sound even thought I'm not digging. While this happens I'm clipping through everything - into the teleporting platform, into the ground etc. Refreshing the site helps, but almost certainly I'm going to lose some progress.
the gem in conversion after complete the expedition was an absolute scam. When I place the opal inside, it returned as the morganite, when I pick the morganite, it returned to an opal slot, IT BURNS MY HALF OF MY GATHERED OPAL >:(
I like the idea of this game, but it’s a little too clicky. My pointer finger hurts. Maybe give the player access to something early on that allows them to mine just by holding the mouse down?
Not gonna lie this game kinda sucks. Like every time I teleport, I get stuck in the ground and have to dig myself out or refresh. There is barely any ores, the pickaxe sucks, I'm punished for the game having bugged slopes or me getting stuck in the ground.
The only good thing here is the concept, to be honest. I would love to play more. Maybe if the bugs and other stuff are fixed.
hey so theirs 8 trophy but only 5 words to decode, is there any hints for the other 3 trophy or am i supposed to find them trough dumb luck or is there no other trophy.
as game progressed, the performance became worse. I would clip through the floor more often until it was unplayable. I finally saw some white balls (lol) about 30 mins into my play through but i was already falling through floors at that point which was sad, so I never go to craft anything
Okay, I need to talk about the movement, because, holy hell, that needs some improvement. Slopes just don't work sometimes, and getting stuck in W's or V's valley is way too easy. And ceilings will clip your head if you ever try going for a jump in a cave.
Other thing, it annoys me so much that you aren't allowed to delete the borders of bridges you make, I would love to do some building and stuff on my ship, but I can't cuz it'll look terrible with all those little lines around.
Oh, and also, why is it so punishing to die? It's wasting minutes of players time for a single mistake? Idk, my spirit was in ruins every time I died before I got storage.
On the positive side though, I really like this games progression. Could be a little less grindy, but aside from that, it's nice to see your take on a digging game. And also, I know all these problems get somewhat fixed as you progress, but maan, it's kinda mean to torture early-game players this hard.
Oh, right, and the bugs
Okay, so, dirt, right? It's almost guaranteed to fill up your inventory early game. Thing is, you probably won't get to throw it all away if you've had a full inventory for a while, because the final slot of dirt will pill up passed 999. I had to jumped and then teleport back 5 times just to throw away all the dirt in that single slot, would do alot for convenience to fix that.
Other bug is a silly one where if you jump as soon as you land, you'll land stomping and shaking the screen.
And last one is where if you stand just a little off a ledge, you start gaining fall speed, and will eventually be inside the ground. You can get out, but it's definitely not intentional.
Every time you use it, a letter in the encrypted message appears. Now that I think about it, might be that I forgot to actually include that message in the save so progress on it might get lost if you reload.
Okay, first off, make the digging auto instead of forcing a click for every dig, because this is carpal tunnel syndrom the game otherwise.
Second, I have spawned straight over the pit without a way to get to one of the letters/numbers, you want to make sure the player will always spawn right on top of solid ground.
This is very cool though in premise, I look forward to playing a later update!
There are some problems with the collision physics. Jumping up - I get stuck in the air. I assume I am stuck on a pixel so I click around my character to dislodge myself. Finally loose, the character falls down, but falls through the solid ground and through the whole letter. Happened to me on my first 2 expeditions.
There's a tendency to get stuck in ceilings after jumping. Also in the floor after reloading. Also it forgot I'd upgraded my pick. Also it's very grindy while you try to get enough colored gems to do anything. There's a good idea here, but it needs work.
This is interesting. I only have the bridge tool so far. It is very grindy with a lot of resource scarcity.
There are the occasional expeditions where you are dropped between letters which can be really irritating. You can't seem to ever teleport quickly enough so lose half your resources. It was the 5th or so time that happened when I had 11 white gems and 4 red ones, trying to unlock the paint roller, that I decided I was done.
If you spam the teleport from an expedition you can teleport from the ship. That didn't break anything, though.
I did find getting hung up on pixels as you were digging to be a little frustrating.
I did encounter a strange issue where when I dropped, I was embedded about 15 pixels below any surface. That made for some unrecoverable situations even with a bridge as I was embedded in the bridge and would ultimately fall. Getting embedded was fixed by a refresh.

Like the idea but it's really buggy and I can't repair the holes I broke in my ship.
So buggy it's unplayable for now... :c It's a shame I was really curious.
Maybe if you make the map made of pixels or blocks (could be triangle or round shape blocks) you could make it less buggy?
Also I think it woud be better to differentiate ores by shape or pattern instead of only colors

Nah, you're correct there are actually only 5. I have no clue where the 8 came from...

Hey how does the decoder work exactly?
Every time you use it, a letter in the encrypted message appears. Now that I think about it, might be that I forgot to actually include that message in the save so progress on it might get lost if you reload.
Yah thats a good idea, You might also want to specify in the item text that it only shows a letter rather than a whole word cuz that confused me
Theres a problem where sometimes Id just start a level and then fall right away.

You also spawn at the same horizontal position you jump off at so you choose the spawn point. Not that it fully solves the issue though...
i want to like this but the grind isn't satisfying

I would wait for an update before trying it again

Hey there🍓 Mind giving the game in my profile a quick rating?
