Footsypool, like the name might suggest is a very much non-realistic arcade style football (or soccer) game that also takes some slight inspiration from billiards too. You need to keep shooting goals on an increasingly crowded field making crazy pool-style trickshots bouncing off everywhere to score big. But you gotta be careful, you can't let your opponent touch the ball at all. You're only allowed a single spare mistake and the big scores will not be gained without taking risks. Can you reupload the source to itch? I would love to learn how you did the mechanics since Ludum Dare looks to be permanently down!

cool and thanks!

i dont understand why the game just passes the initial ball directly to the enemy defender in the second round.

The ball passes always to the closest unit. So I guess you're not adding a player closer than the opponent.

look, you can just place them in front of the goal. not that I'm bashing you or anything. I had quite some laugh with how broken this is. why don't you just ad more obstacles as you get more points?

uhhh, i don't even know what went wrong...

managed to put the guys out of bounds XD

also softlocked by shooting straight out D:<

Oops! 😅

might also wanna clear leaderboards, btw, this bug lets you get infinite points

Well there isn't any point to clear the leaderboards unless I could fix this exploit. And I can't since the jam (Ludum Dare compo so only 48 hours) is over. So a couple of weeks before I can patch this out and then probably clear the scores. Didn't even think of stacking the dudes could be used like this to your advantage. And that isn't really the problem here but the opponent failing to place units on the field in these certain situations.
