Patch 1.3.0

As I kept introducing more and more skills, the random luck needed for acquiring some "required" skills became more and more apparrent and some of the less powerful skills became more of a hinderence. I still do want some power level variance in the skills and have some be more situational but still have the balance be well rounded overall.

This update is sure to have some class

So I needed to find a way to get around this and the solution was to add character classes which all have differently weighted pools of skills they pull from so you can be more in control of what might be offered to you when you level up.

Like teleporting around the battlefield? I bet you do you filthy wizard. Casting healing spells more your cup of tea? Maybe the devout path of the cleric is your calling then. Or maybe just pick the best from both worlds and become a sage.

Something to aim for

By having these classes start as locked and need to be unlocked by acquiring their related skills first introduces a new end goal of unlocking them all on top of the normal goal of just trying to score big.

Nerfing Terraformer, again

I still felt that Terraformer was a tad too powerful in comparison to some other skills so I split it to two different skills. One which converts horizontally and one which converts vertically. And to top it off I added a third variant which converts all the tiles around you. And now with the classes, you can be more in control whether you would like these skills or not.

No wipe

I don't feel like it's needed to clear the leaderboards for this patch. There were some balancing things but I think it's still pretty similar in the end. The addition of classes and a more honed skill pools actually make the runs easier to get going. Even though, honestly, I haven't even played with all the classes that much yet. After all, I do have my favourites too.

No Linux :(

Sadly Unity started weirdly acting up (even without updating it) and completely fails to refuse to build for Linux anymore. So can't release it for Linux until the Unity Toolchain package starts working again.
