Are only the dice on screen supposed to show up?

Yes the damage dice follow the same pagination as your cargo.

My ship captain refused to leave the uncollector's ship, softlocking the game. I was on mobile, so I didn't have access to console to see the reason for this bug

Yeah, seems like there is indeed some rare/specific bug with leaving the uncollector ship but I haven't been able to reproduce it myself yet. I guess you sacrificed something there, remember what it was? And that was the second time doing so that run?

It was my third time going to the uncollector that run, and the sacrificed trinket was either fixer or grow

Also, does equality even work?

Seems to work fine to me. Wright (with upgrade so should plate 3 & 4) here plated the 2.

I left the tab, my parrots attacked. Shortly after, I clicked spy(I had options bribe, spy, and shoot). I saw no cargo in the enemy ship. I left, and then the shoot button never showed up

For some reason, the cargo started to instantly teleport instead of shifting after the update

And genie's cargo started floating

Teleporting where? At least initial cargo roll/looting  does seem to animate just fine. But didn't even remember to check how it'd affect genie/memory ships...

Oh now I see it, when a dice is removed others snap to place instantly.

How long are you supposed to be stuck in a fight with an angel or demon i was having an amazing run and had duplicate mimic as well as duplicate boost and cant get the right sequence so i have been stuck in a forced celestial fight for going on an hour with no end in sight is it supposed to end the run i thought after so long it would end and i would be down the dice but still able to move on not remove my whole loot stash

uhhh what happens if you have a trinket guy already...? time to find out!

Yeah, having dupes is the same as if you had one lvl two one.

Wasn't initially even supposed to be like that but it was too fun to change. It's crazy good too, maybe even too good...

If you click to select where the enemies damage will hit multiple times quickly, then the enemy attacks multiple times.

i appear to be stuck. no button to progress forward. i just gave the trinket uncollector my split. and this was my best run ever too... 3 legacies, both a multishot guy and a splash guy AND a bard... and i was around endless 50 or so? only once used the infinity + split infinite combo, and it was after i had at least 50 cargo

does using the restart button apply my legacies?

Yup, it should at least...

found a harmless bug. i ran out of cargo except for one pearl and immediately used it, got this screen. pressing roll sent me back to the start.

Yeah, the retry button is probably still hiding underneath the roll button. Harmless yes, but guess I should block usable dice usage if sinking...

I found a bug: Pearls obtained from bribing cannot be used(clicking them does nothing), although they trigger the clam boss and give it more health! Please fix.

Combining the infinity and split trinkets is perfect balanced and definitely does not remove all of the challenge from the game.

Nope, only those two special ones are the only for now.

Having a few "Boost" trinkets or Rosa's "Might"(with no crew) makes it extremely laggy. Even if you only have like 5 cargos, it takes 10 seconds to attack if your max damage is 5 or 6(from self-experience). Can you make a "Low Graphics" or "Instant Attack" kind of thing?

Hmm, I don't really see how that could be a cause for lag and not the amount of dice. I'll see what I can do for the next patch to improve performance and/or add options.

The inability to reach my spice is a bit annoying...

Also, there is a text error with divine/underworld beings who are part navi or pirate. It says what a navi/pirate should say if they're on your crew. I think it's supposed to be "Will sometimes force an enemy to skip their turn" or "Dodge all damage divisible by X"...

What exactly is the gilded cargo about? You get it when you had a bad start, even after rerolling, I guess - but it doesn't behave like plated cargo and after I lost my run, it doesn't appear on my deck. Was something supposed to happen with it? In the run where I got it, I could see it under deck but not in my new run. (I did not start a new run via Options or the green pearl - if the green pearl still exists? I started with the "Retry"-button.)I am also in the Royal Babysitter Challenge Mode, does that change something if you get the gilded cargo in that specific mode maybe?

Gilded cargo are added to your cargo at the start of a next run but it (like all start items) don't work on royal babysitter.

Ah, I see. So if I got the gilded cargo in the Royal Babysitter Mode, it can't appear in the normal mode, right?

I think that way around it should work. You just can't use them in royal babysitter (or any other possible future challenge mode, I kinda like the idea of adding more of these). But if you happen to gain some during it, lose and switch to normal, they should be there.

I got the gilded cargo in Royal Babysitter Mode, after that I had a couple runs in that mode until I finished the challenge (yay) and when I switched to normal mode, it still didn't appear. It might have worked if I switched to normal mode immediately after losing the run where I got the gilded cargo?

I also like the idea of possible future challenge modes, it's a nice feat (:

Yup, if you start a challenge run it will "use" up all the stored gilded cargo just like it normally would but just doesn't give them to you. Otherwise they would just stack up and would become kinda OP. Other way I could do it maybe is not giving out gilded on challenges at all so they wouldn't need to reset at start.

Icebergs don't make sense. Before, I shot it, got a roll of 20, and it was 9% loosened.(first shot). Second shot was 18 and it sank. This time, I got a roll of 15, it was 25% loosened, then I got 15 again and it sank. Can you please change the iceberg mechanic? The game is also sometimes EXTREMELY laggy, you can watch the video. I only had 100 cargos. maybe you can make a "Low animation mode" or something similar.

Heh, "only" 100. Yeah I'll check what's wrong with icebergs, that doesn't seem right. The target should be the number of your cargo * 2 (ie. the max roll).

It does work as intended. Lets say you have 5 cargo ie. target total to hit is 10.

0-5 -> 0%
6 -> 20%
7 -> 40%
8 -> 60%
9 -> 80%
10 -> 100%

can you make it so that when you start with scout, you can reroll one more time

There is a bug that happened twice already with the genie ship. Before the newest update(log, golden cargo, starting crew) it was working well. First time bug happened: I wished for Frate(Frog mate) at the genie ship. I had a boy at the end of my ship, and the boy walked the plank. But Frate never came on! Second time: I wished for Bob. My boomer walked the plank, but bob didn't appear on my ship. Pls fix.

Great game though, very addicting!

Man, I wish the "if an X dice were to be destroyed, replace it with a pearl" would stop turning my plated dice into pearls (is that intentional anyways?)

I feel like there's a typo on the Boomer page : Finish an encounter with using all possible shots. Shouldn't it be Finish an encounter by using all possible shots?

That's  what I get on my computer

My best run so far. Gave up because i need to beat a few clam riders in a row just to get a normal event (and because the game was lagging from all of my cargo)

It seems you can't get "luckless"and "golden tales" on the first run if there is no save.

EDIT-Actually I just can't get luckless+golden tales

Should be able to lock them at first too. Have you noticed that they only unlock if you also rerolled your initial cargo?

btw, the enemy figure head is still smiling on the other ship

He sucks and I still have to fight him because I'm in the epilogue after beating 13th fleet(He was Wright and Pirate by the way)

Is this too overpowered?

can you have a setting that makes the game faster because in the late game battles, it's really laggy

Just some log book feedback for the unlocking. Once unlocked, put the 'Select' button on the right hand page with the crew member, or inverse the order so the crew member is on the right. I know, hard call, just right now I see the ability to select a crew member, but it is showing the page of the incorrect crew member. I see 'Tink' on the right hand side, but the select on the left is for Bard.

Can you post a pic of how it looks for you? That doesn't sound right...

Yeah, something wrong there with page changes. Each crew member is supposed to start on left left page. The page before those is only supposed to be there as a filler if the number of pages prior wasn't even. Looks like the page before the filler page is somehow messing up the filler page positioning and making it take more than a page.

So basically, one time I shot at an iceberg with a 7, and it said it is 50% loosened. But when I shot it again with a 7, the iceberg sank.

Maybe I'm just delusional, but I just wanna ask u abt this

Should have rammed the iceberg... it's a dice roll.

So I'm guessing you had 7 dice. The second time you rolled a seven should have indeed brought you to 100% and not over. Are you sure it was a 7 too?

He is riding a crocodile because he doesn't have a ship anymore... 🤷‍♀️

i bought the game on steam and the music gets distorted when i play the game but when i leave it its fine? and my game crashed when i fought an angel too.. its just very laggy at times but im happy to support the development on this game :P i'll just play the web version for now

Thanks! The Steam version is basically the same just wrapped in a lightweight browser app. The only difference really is how the music and sounds are played since they didn't work straight out of the box so they're played from the actual wrapper app side. I guess there must be something wrong there if the musics gets distorted (probably due those pitch shifts) and must be the source of the lag if the web version is running fine for you. I'll look more into it.

Looks like it’s your previous unlock notification. But why it’s still partly visible I do not know.

why is the swab button there?

My guess would be it's leftovers from a previous event where you had to choose a crew member for something. No clue why it would still be there at this point though. How long was it there or did it appear after you were browsing the log book?

Good question! So the original version of the game was made for js13k, a game jam where you make a game that must fit completely in 13 kilobytes (ie. like 1% of a floppy disk). It lasts for a month and I'm pretty sure coming up with the name was one of that last things I did even though the game was almost 99% there after the first week. I was and had been browsing a lot of different wikipedia articles and lists of nautical/pirate word definitions and those two were some of that just sounded fun to me. Especially together as they kinda rhyme. So not much more reason behind it than that.
